1. Information We Collect

When you create an account, enroll in courses, submit assignments, or apply as an instructor at Nexus Design Academy, we collect basic identifiers (full name, email address, phone number, and optional portfolio links). All payment operations are handled securely via PCI-compliant payment gateways; we never store your credit card information directly.

2. Learning Progress & Assignment Data

To provide milestone evaluations, certificate issuance, and instructor feedback, our platform tracks your lesson completion rates, video playback time, assignment uploads, and mentor grading remarks. This data is exclusively accessible to your designated mentor, course instructors, and academic administrators.

3. Certificate Authenticity & Public Verification

Upon graduating from a recognized program, Nexus Design Academy generates an immutable, unique Certificate Verification Code (e.g., NEXUS-CERT-...). This code allows third-party employers and recruiters to verify your credential's authenticity through our public portal at /verify/{code}. Only your name, course title, and completion date are displayed publicly.

4. Intellectual Property

All lectures, curriculum recordings, design project templates, and downloadable assets provided in Nexus courses are proprietary intellectual property. Enrolled students are granted a personal, non-transferable lifetime license for individual study. Sharing accounts, re-uploading content, or unauthorized redistribution is strictly prohibited.
